Arlington Heavy Hauling started as the Heavy Hauling Division of Arlington Salvage & Wrecker.
Arlington Salvage & Wrecker owners Jack and Bob McCart hired their sister Annette Mears in approximatley 1985 to help in the office with dispatching their fleet of tow trucks and "lowboy" tractor trailers.
As the years progressed the business did too. By 1990 the heavy hauling business evolved to a point where the heavy hauling division was formed to focus exclusivley on the prospering hauling business.
In 1992 Annette's son Gary Ayers became involved in the business to assist with the safety and permitting requirements associated with the business.
As the business continued to grow it became evident that both the towing and the hauling businesses were in need of operating independently of each other.
In June of 2001 Annette and Gary purchased the heavy hauling division from Jack and Bob and formed Arlington Heavy Hauling, Inc.
Although the company names are similar, the two businesses are separate entities today.
